Being physically active can help us lead healthier lives and it has an important role to play in improving wellbeing.

So whether it's helping you by providing funding to assist the delivery of a project, or with our own campaigns targeted at helping certain groups to be active, we're working with national and local partners to ensure everyone in England can benefit from getting active.

Our funding

Each year we invest more than £250 million of National Lottery and government funding to support sport and physical activity in England.
