The Community Investment Fund in the West Midlands from
2003 to closure on 31 March 2009
The West Midlands Regional Sports Board (WMRSB)* was the awarding body for this Sport England National Lottery fund up until December 2008. All decisions were set against the aims and criteria of the following strategies:

*The WMRSB was abolished on 31 December 2008.

CIF awards - decisions making from January 2009
Following the abolition of the Regional Sports Board on 31 December 2008, responsibility for determining regional awards over £100,000 has transferred to the Sport England Project Committee, a sub committee of the Main Board which meets on a monthly basis. Applications for £100,000, or less, are determined by the Regional Strategic Lead.

Sport England will continue to make decisions on applications currently in the pipeline, and those received prior to the formal closure of the programme, until all remaining CIF funds have been fully committed (by 31 March 2009).
