Delivery Plan for sub-objective 4.5
Maximise the increase in London participation at community and grass roots level in all sport and across all groups
Key organisations involved in delivering sport have come together in the Sport in London Group, to develop a delivery plan to maximise the increase in sports participation in the run up to and after the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Based on agreed key strategic objectives, this plan identifies five themed work areas to take forward in order to maximise the desired increase in sports participation in London.
Cutting across all these themes are the principles of inclusiveness and diversity. Specific interventions will also be developed aimed at increasing participation amongst women, BME communities and disabled people.
We are currently consulting all stakeholders on the Delivery Plan for sub-objective 4.5
