Come and join in the fun at the People's Village – a free event celebrating and promoting cycling in the Capital with a variety of informative exhibits, interactive displays and entertainment. There will also be stands featuring the best of France and Britain, from food to tourism and culture, so soak up the carnival atmosphere.

The People's Village will include many features – from the legendary Tour de France interactive Roadshow vehicle, to a display of bicycles and other pedal-powered vehicles; a cycling history show; a try-out area where visitors can have a go on a variety of bikes; a cycle track; a stunning photographic exhibition; through to a "spinning" session involving hundreds of exercise bikes; as well as numerous displays and demonstrations from organisations involved in the cycling industry.

The event will also celebrate British and French cultures with exhibits ranging from foods and wines to crafts, fashion and art. British and French markets will give visitors the chance to taste and buy specialist products from around the UK and France not found on the high street.
