CHAMPIONS HELP CLUB CELEBRATE ACHIEVEMENT
Two European Champions from one of the North-West's leading cycle clubs have helped their club celebrate the achievement of being awarded Clubmark accreditation.
The presentation at the Astley & Tyldesley Cycle Speedway Club also helped Sport England celebrate the milestone that 1000 clubs have now achieve Clubmark accreditation in 20 different sports across the country.
European junior champion Remi Burchardt and European Senior Champion Damian Zareba joined fellow members of the club for the presentation and promotional photo-opportunity.
The award recognises that the Astley and Tyldesley have reached high standards of coaching, good management, equal opportunities and safety.
