PPG17 Consultation

The Government has recently published their consultation document on Planning Policy Guidance 17: Planning for Open Space, Sport and Recreation. The deadline for this consultation is 1 June 2010. Sport England will be responding to this consultation, outlining our initial concerns that it does not place enough emphasis on sport, recreation and physical activity, with the tone of the PPG being heavily weighted towards the natural environment.
