9.2 The following HR policies and procedures required to ensure compliance with legislation and good practice are in place. Each policy/procedure has been reviewed, and updated if required, in the last two years.
9.3 Key volunteers have role descriptions.
9.4 There is designated accountability within your organisation for ensuring that HR policies and employment practices are evaluated and regularly reviewed to maintain compliance with legal requirements.

Expand 10. A sound system of staff and volunteer development and performance management is in place.

10.1 An annual performance appraisal system is documented and in place for all staff members and key volunteers.
10.2 The board has completed an appraisal of the chief executive in the past year.
