easy to organise, simple rules and can be played indoors or
outdoors. Watch a live demonstration to see just how easy it
is!

| Fencing |
Learn about ‘Go Fence’ and watch a live
demonstration. Go Fence is British Fencing’s introduction to
the sport using plastic and foam kit. It could be used at
universities as a promotional tool for the Fencing club perhaps at
a Fresher’s Fair, as part of an active lifestyles programme,
intramural sports competitions and more.

Hear from the The FA on Just Play! - the brand
for the partnership between The FA and Mars which aims to increase
adult participation in football. It is fun and informal,
unstructured but organised, aims to help players resuming or
enhancing a footballing journey – and it’s ‘jumpers for
goalposts!’

| Gymnastics |
Gym Fusion is a new National Festivals
Programme, which involves all disciplines of gymnastics in a more
social, fun and enjoyable setting. It has been developed in
response to research undertaken with students into the reasons why
they drop-out of the sport. Gym Fusion aims to provide an
alternative to competition and a new route into gymnastics.

Rush Hockey is a new format of the game –
which can be played indoor or outdoor, with mixed teams of four or
five, is self umpired, no goalkeepers, with just a few simple
rules. Hear how this game could appeal to students.

| Judo |
Introducing the British Judo Student Voucher
Book – which aims to help students get started in Judo. The
booklet includes a free licence, free grading, four free lessons
and more. Improvements for 2011 include initial online
registration, discounted renewal licence and a £6 Judo gi!

| Lacrosse |

offer – including provision of regular coaching support to develop
and retain participants, competitions for your club participants,

British Orienteering explains its support to
universities including developing a regular activity programme and
major event opportunities. There is also support for Active
Universities projects through the mapping of campuses, permanent
orienteering course offer, competition, coaching and club expansion

graded squash event. An events pack of support and guidance
in how to put on and run an event will be provided and university
clubs and students can bid to host and run the Regional
tournament. The outcome will be more opportunities for
playing in a more social way and it could help clubs with income

institution. The aim of the UTC programme is about
creating more opportunities for students to play, compete and
receive the latest training packages as volunteers or
