The CSP’s main aim is to improve opportunities for residents in Cornwall to get the most from their chosen sport or activity. Areas of work include;

• The local delivery of National Sports initiatives
• Provision of sporting pathways for young people from grass roots to elite performers
• Coach and Volunteer Education programmes building workforce capacity
• Partnerships with Local Authorities, Schools, Police and Health
• Deploying Community Sports Coaches to maintain & develop high quality coaching & developing  a quality assured coaching strategy
• Supporting the development of community-based activities, based on the needs of the local communities.
