All Together Now spacer All Together Now - The Business of Sport
Over 250 delegates attended Sport England's 3rd Regional Sports Conference at Center Parcs, Longleat Forest on 27/28 February 2008. The Conference  set out to explore together how we can realise the vision in the South West of 200,000 more people taking part in sport and active recreation by 2012. SW Regional Conference for Sport 2007 spacer 'Making an Impact' - Creating active communities through sport
27-28 Feb 2007 at The Palace Hotel, Torquay
View presentations from the event which celebrated what we all do and how good we are at it. Speakers included Joe Simpson (author of Touching the Void), Caroline Flint (Minister for Public Health) and Derek Mapp, the new Chairman of Sport England.

8/9 March, Centre Parcs, Longleat
This major two day Regional Conference at Center Parcs, Longleat Forest, attracted 180 delegates and provoked a powerful debate about the future of sport and physical activity in the region. The two days included dynamic speakers, interactive workshops and the high quality environment of Center Parcs. The conference was held in conjunction with Youth Sport Trust and UK Sport. Atmospheric spacer ‘Working out’ – the secrets of an active and healthy workplace
The first South West regional conference on developing healthy and active workplaces took place on the 28 September in Bridgwater, Somerset. Called ‘Working Out’, the conference unearthed some of the secrets of what works and what doesn’t from recent attempts to develop a culture of physical activity within and around the workplace.
