County Sports Partnerships
Sport England South East has spent the last two years working with the seven counties of the South East to develop the existing Active Sports Partnerships into County Sports Partnerships (CSP's).

These Partnerships are responsible for the strategic coordination of sport and physical activity within the county. The ultimate aim is to increase participation by widening access and create pathways for recipients to follow in their choses sport/activity.

The individual role of each CSP is locally determined, but centres around the delivery of National Governing Body Whole Sports/One-Stop Plans. In addition to this sports-specific function, the Partnerships provide a range of generic services aiming to provide the necessary building blocks for coaches, volunteers and clubs to develop and flourish.

The Partnerships are funded via a variety of organisations, namely the Sport England Lottery Fund, Local Authorities, National Governing Bodies of Sport, Local Education Authorities and in some cases, local businesses.
