Understanding variations in participation across sports
In September 2009, Sport England commissioned the
Futures Company and Mindshare to undertake statistical modelling
and qualitative research work to better understand a wider range of
factors affecting sports participation.
The project was delivered in two stages:
This work formed part of a larger research project that also
looked at the factors affecting variations in sports participation
between local areas
