The Somerset Activity and Sports Partnership (SASP) is the County Sports Partnership for Somerset.

SASP’s vision is to create a healthier and more active community in Somerset.

It does this by promoting physical activity and sport in Somerset through existing networks and with its own team of 57 sports coaches who are deployed in schools, sports clubs, physical activity projects, sports centres and on talent development programmes.

In the next 12 months a focus for its work will be:

• Promoting physical activity and sport for adults (16+)
• Club Development – helping clubs to provide more sports opportunities for all levels of ability
• Improving activity levels of young people
• Developing high level coach training and career pathways
