Outcome: Increasing opportunity for young people to engage in high-quality sport, cultural, leisure and volunteering activity, reducing the risk of disaffection and disengagement from mainstream services
Outcome: The physical and mental health of young people is improved by increased participation in sporting, artistic and creative activity Indicator: The percentage of 5 – 16 year olds participating in a minimum of 2 hours per week of high quality PE and School Sports.
Outcome: Vulnerable young people are supported in accessing universal leisure opportunities. Indicator: Take up of cultural and sporting opportunities among over 16 year olds.
Outcome: Young people themselves are encouraged to undertake training as organisers, instructors, and coaches and to work as volunteers within their own community. Indicator: Number of young people volunteering in culture and sport Indicator: Increase the number of young people undertaking training to act as volunteers in the organisation of leisure time activities within their own communities.
