Sport England today published a quarterly update on sports participation in England. Our survey of 190,000 people is used to measure our work with sports governing bodies to get people playing and enjoying more sport.

Sport England announces independent investigation into World Class Payments Bureau
Sport England today announced an independent investigation into a funding mechanism which operated outside the organisation’s normal financial controls. This mechanism was called the ‘World Class Payments Bureau’. It functioned between 1999 and March 2007.

Research shows satisfaction is high in grassroots sport
New research published by Sport England reveals a high level of satisfaction amongst people taking part in grassroots sport. Regular participants from over 40 sports gave an overall satisfaction rating of 80.3 out of 100 across ten areas.
