Successful Partnership Director Recruitment

This is an exciting time for London as the five Directors will play a key role in the future of London s sporting landscape. The following appointments have been made

Partnership Appointed Director Start Date
South Christine Double 1st April 2006
East Jason Fergus Started
West Simon Lister 1st April 2006
Central Angus Robertson 27th March 2006
North Adrian Ledbury 1st April 2006

Matt Delaney London Regional Director said

“We are delighted to have appointed 5 Partnership Directors all of which bring a mix of knowledge, expertise and a strong track record in partnership working. I look forward to working with them all over the coming months and years”

The first three months September – December 05 focused largely on partner engagement and ensuring all interested partners were kept up to date on the development of the 5 Partnerships.

The next three months focused on completing some of the detailed tasks related to the fit for purpose target for each sub region. Having already developed clear lines of communication we are keen to ensure partners can still maintain contact and input into the final stage of development.

Sport England staff members and London Sports Board members will continue in their current roles supporting the whole process with a particular focus on Board Chair and Member recruitment (seeJanuary newsletter)
