London Sports Board (LSB) agreed the Partnership Vision, Roles and Functions    Paper produced by the Sports Partnership Action Team – 19th May 05

·London Sports Board agreed 5 Sub Regional Partnership Structure (based on GLA/LDA/LSC existing structures) – 19th May 05

·London Sports Board agreed to assign 5 x LSB Members to act as interim chairs of the Partnership Boards up to March 06 to get them started – 7th July 05

·London Sports Board agreed the Partnership Governance Framework – 7th July 05

·London Sports Board agreed Partnership Director Job Description & Person Specification agreed – 7th July 05

·Open bidding process to identify 5 Host Agencies taken place (June/July 05)

·Currently negotiating with the 5 preferred host agencies

What’s ahead for the coming months - 27th September 2005 – 31st March 06

·W/c 11th  October - All Partners receive a monthly (1st Monday in each month) update on Partnerships progress

·W/c 31st  October - Recruitment of 5 Sub Regional Directors begins

·30th November - 5 Host Agencies secured

·30th November – Open recruitment of 5 Partnership Board Chairs (2 years)

·30th November – Round 1 Open Recruitment of a minimum of 3 Interim  (1 year) Board Members

·23rd December – Partnership Directors appointed

·1st February 06 – 1 Business Plans completed for consultation

·End of February – Partnerships Launch takes place (MOU’s signed)

·31st March 06 – Partnership Directors in post

·31st March 06 - London Active Partnership closes

·31st March 06 – 5 Partnerships Fit For Purpose

·1st April 06 – Pan London Core Services Delivery Starts (See London Active Partnership Update)

·1st April 06 – Partnerships undertake a strategic analysis

·1st April 07 – 31st March 2014 – Partnership Strategy in place
