Sport and Faith Conference: Body and Soul

An event to bring the communities from sport and faith together

20th March 2007 at the Megacentre, Sheffield

It is recognised that organisations from the sport and faith sectors are successful at bringing people together from all backgrounds, ages, abilities, cultures & communities.

This event, organised by Sport England, the Churches Regional Commission for Yorkshire and Humber and the Yorkshire and Humber Faiths Forum, explored the role of sport within faith communities.

From the event, we hope to understand what faith communities and groups need from sporting organisations: How can we work more closely together?

On this page you can find presentations and weblinks from the event.
