What is North West on the Move? Developing an identity for partners in the north west to inform, stretch, inspire and create better conditions for sport and physical activity .

‘North West on the Move’ is a new brand identity for the network of partners involved in delivering the North West Plan for Sport & Physical Activity
The Plan sets the context for sport & physical activity in the North West for the 2004-2008 period and focuses on achieving two main outcomes:
- To increase participation in sport and physical activity.
- To widen access and reduce inequality in participation amongst priority groups.
Who is part of 'North West on the Move' Every organisation or individual who has a remit to deliver sport & physical activity objectives in the North West is part of ‘North West on the Move’. A major conference involving all the stakeholders of North West on the Move was held on 3rd March 2005, click here to view details of this 'Partnerships for Success' event.
This doesn’t just include Local Authorities, National Governing Bodies of Sport, County Sports Partnerships and other well-known sporting organisations it includes people from health, education, voluntary & community groups, the private sector, regional agencies and other non-sporting organisations.
