The Tour de France inspires millions of people every year to get out on their bikes and ride. Cycling facilities in London and Kent are improving all the time due to record levels of investment from organisations such as Transport for London, so there has never been a better time to discover how much fun it can be.

You can also get involved by volunteering as a route marshal, to help when the Tour de France arrives in 2007. The Transport for London website www.tfl.gov.uk/cycles has lots of great ideas on how to get around by bike or log onto tourdefrancelondon.com

Find out if the Tour de France Roadshow is coming to a place near you!
