This section shows how the sporting segments are distributed locally, regionally and nationally. Data can be provided from postcode upwards to create unique geographic analysis.
The national picture These maps illustrate the distribution of each of the 19 segments across England. View maps.
The local picture Sport England has produced the market segment profile for each County Sport Partnership (CSP) and local authority. This shows the proportion of each segment in each local authority and CSP, compared to the national and regional picture. This is a great place to start exploring what market segmentation could mean for your area, for example which are the more prevalent segments in your area and what this means for sport and active recreation provision.
