  • Ridges and location for lee waves from Welsh mountains.
  • Airspace is controlled at approx. 17,000 ft above the site
  • Airspace free to the south-east, enabling 20,000 ft climbs.

  • Home to Midland GC with 162 members;
  • Adjacent to Birmingham population catchment.
