Pavilions project brings double the attractions
Two run-down facilities have been transformed into a superb new leisure centre in Horsham that is both a pay-and-play facility for the local community and a focus for local sports clubs.
And since it was opened the complex has seen a massive 124 % rise in users from 230,000 to 515,674.
The flagship Pavilions in the Park swimming and leisure centre attracted Sport England funding of £3.5 from Lottery proceeds.
The result is a high quality centre which boasts a 25 metre swimming pool, gymnastics training hall, health and fitness suite, multi purpose activity hall, indoor children’s play centre and a crèche.
