Core Strategies

It is important that planning authorities include full and detailed policies in respect of developer contributions specifying:

  • The situations in which planning contributions will be sought;
  • How far sports development will be covered in area action plans;
  • Whether CIL will be adopted , and the uses  expected to benefit from Levy revenues should be covered; and
  • The scope of any supplementary planning document relating to site specific sports provisions.
