Introduction In May 2006 the Sport England regions in the East Midlands and Yorkshire hosted a seminar with the Youth Sport Trust called Joint Ways of Working that aimed to develop a more cohesive approach to services for young people.
The young people's agenda is a constantly changing environment and there is an ongoing need to check and challenge. Thus the seminar was organised to together key strategic agencies and deliverers to a cross regional event
The seminar looked at three main elements of within the young people and sport agenda. - Strategy - innovation & vision for the future of the single delivery system for sport
- Development - learning and understanding partner roles & responsibilities
