Sport England in the East Midlands region is responsible for advising, investing in and promoting community sport in order to create an active nation.

Interim management arrangements in the East Midlands
Following the secondment of Tim Garfield to Loughborough University Graeme Beaumont (Head of Investment), Wendy Campbell (Head of Delivery) and Anne Rippon (Head of Performance, Improvement and Communications) will cover the work areas of the Regional Director. They will be supported by Chris Perks the Regional Director in the East Region.

Key areas of work:

• Graeme Beaumont: Investment and grant aid issues
• Wendy Campbell: Delivery issues
• Anne Rippon: Business planning and reporting, external affairs.

We anticipate this arrangement will be in place until July 2008 and will be reviewed as the new shape of the organisation emerges. Items that you would like to be picked up by our management team can be sent directly to the newly created Regional Director East Midlands email address.
