Olympic medallist visits region
Olympic Gold medallist Jonathan Edwards has visited the region to witness activities to maximise the benefits from the 2012 Games. His visit included the launch of the Derbyshire Plan for the 2012 Games and Castle Rock High School in Coalville to see school sports competition.

Nottingham hosts Festival of Women’s Football
Thousands of people turned out to watch and participate in a variety of activities centred around women’s and girls’ football across the Bank Holiday weekend at the Nottingham Festival of Women’s Football.
