The Community Investment Fund is the National Lottery funding available from the nine regions of Sport England. This section contains more information about the fund and steps to consider before applying.

Important message if you're considering applying to the CIF fund

If you are applying to the Community Investment Fund it is very important that you contact your Sport England Regional Office to find out your realistic chances of receiving an award from us. The table below shows how much each region has available to give to successful CIF applications, but we already have many projects “in the system” awaiting funding decisions.

We do not want you to waste valuable time and resources submitting applications that we may not be able to support, so please contact Sport England East on 01234 345222  for the most up to date information on your chances of success. Please be ready to give details of your proposed project including what you are intending to do and how much it is likely to cost.
