SW Coaches Conference - July 2007

'Making an Impact' - Creating active communities through sport
27-28 Feb 2007 at The Palace Hotel, Torquay
View presentations from the event which celebrated what we all do and how good we are at it. Speakers included Joe Simpson (author of Touching the Void), Caroline Flint (Minister for Public Health) and Derek Mapp, the new Chairman of Sport England.

8/9 March, Centre Parcs, Longleat
This major two day Regional Conference at Center Parcs, Longleat Forest, attracted 180 delegates and provoked a powerful debate about the future of sport and physical activity in the region. The two days included dynamic speakers, interactive workshops and the high quality environment of Center Parcs. The conference was held in conjunction with Youth Sport Trust and UK Sport.
