GMTV presenter and former GB Davis Cup tennis player Andrew Castle will be hosting a fund raising gala dinner for Win Tennis, on Saturday 21st June at The Riverside Room, Savoy Place in London.
The dinner and charity auction will raise funds for the Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) as well as the Win Tennis Scholarship Fund.
Win Tennis coaches and nurtures young, aspiring tennis talent in the UK. It has a high quality coaching team with 42 European & World ranked players. The main base is at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre near Marlow, Bucks, a training venue owned and Lottery Funded by Sport England.
GMTV’s Andrew Castle said: “I’m delighted to host this gala dinner. The dinner was a huge success last year and funds raised have benefited both CRY and the young talent coming through the Win Tennis Academy system.”
Mike Walker, Chief Executive and Director of Win Tennis, commented: “We are proud of our association with CRY who will continue to benefit from funds raised, as well as the Win Tennis Scholarship Fund which provides opportunities for talented young players to maximize their full potential.”
Stuart Smith, President of The Lawn Tennis Association added: “Win Tennis embodies many of the qualities that the LTA demands of a Centre granted High Performance Centre investment. We firmly believe that greater success at the top end of the sport will also ensure we grow the whole game.”

Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY)
CRY was established in May 1995 to raise awareness of Cardiac Risk in the Young and undiagnosed conditions that can cause a fatal heart arrest in apparently fit and healthy young people. This is often called Sudden Cardiac Death and Sudden Death Syndrome. As well as offering support to those who have suffered a loss through a network of affected families and counseling, CRY also promotes heart screening and ECG Testing Programmes.
