WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT
As you maybe aware, Sport England and the 5 Pro-Active London Sub Regional Partnerships are undertaking a London wide workforce and sector skills survey. We attach the questionnaire and a letter of explanation.
London Workforce Questionnaire
Letter to Partners on Talent and Building Capacity
In distributing this questionnaire we have used our existing database. We are aware that our database has a number of contacts from the same organisations. To ensure full coverage the survey has been sent out to all these contacts. Where possible we have tried to reduce the possibility of duplication.
We are particularly keen to enable the right people in organisations to respond to this questionnaire. Please can you ensure that someone in your organisation coordinates the responses to this questionnaire. The questionnaire addresses;
· Workforce and volunteer make up /profile (please note, this should have some form of HR/Personnel input, if this exists.)
· Recruitment and retention issues for the workforce, club or organisation
· Skills needs and skill gaps within the organisation (please note, this may require input from people involved with training and workforce development)
Should you have any problems in responding to this questionnaire please contact our commissioned contractors Ottaway Strategic Management Ltd, by ringing Martin King on 01273 491905 or 07985 441304 or emailing on martin@ottawaystrategic.co.uk
Please take the time to complete this vital questionnaire. Its value to sport and the development of sport is crucial. With this questionnaire completed, we will be able to finalise sub regional workforce development plans and this will assist in securing funding to help provide training and skills development of our sectors workforce.
