The Paralympic World Cup has returned to Manchester for the fourth year running. The five day event, now an annual fixture on the international sports calendar, will see 400 athletes from 45 countries compete in four events: athletics, wheelchair basketball, track cycling and swimming.

Sport England today welcomed the event as a powerful and important demonstration of the strength of Paralympic sport in this country.
