Community Team Administrator

Contract:Full time - Initial 6 month contract
Salary:Up to £18,000 p.a.
Responsible to:Rugby Development Manager & Foundation Director

As the demands on the Saracens award winning Community Team continue to grow, we have a new, full time opportunity for an efficient administrator with excellent customer service skills. This is a great opportunity to be part of a friendly, close knit team working at one of the Premiership’s most community focussed clubs. The successful applicant will be responsible for all aspects of the administration of the Saracens Community Team.
Responsibilities will include:

·Coordinating the administration of our successful Masterclass Coaching Courses and other commercial rugby activities.
·Administration of the Saracens Foundation – the charitable arm of Saracens.
·Communicating with local rugby clubs, schools and other community partners.
·Coordinating media activity and the communication strategy.
·Monitoring community programme delivery and reporting the results to key partners.
·Contributing to the Saracens matchday experience.
·Administration of the Community Team database.

This role is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in the sports industry. We are looking for someone who has a passion for rugby and has an understanding of the game. We are ideally looking for applicants who have had some experience either in sport or through a sport’s related qualification.

Applicants must have excellent administration and organisation skills, be customer service oriented and be able to communicate well in writing and verbally (often over the phone). You will need some experience of organising and marketing events for groups of people and understand the importance of hitting deadlines and targets set. You will need to be adept in the use of Word and Excel Microsoft Office applications.

A
pplicants will need to be equally confident in working as part of a team and on their own. You must have the ability to take the initiative and make decisions when required. Car owner preferred.
