Amy Grieve spacer Sport England facility helps young rower make the Olympics
Amy Grieve, 16 year old junior rowing captain from Runcorn Rowing Club in Cheshire, will be going to the Beijing 2008 Olympic and Paralympic Games. She learnt in May 2008 that she has been selected as one of only four Young Sports Ambassadors chosen to represent England at the Games.

Paralympic World Cup returns to Manchester
The Paralympic World Cup has returned to Manchester for the fourth year running. The five day event, now an annual fixture on the international sports calendar, will see 400 athletes from 45 countries compete in four events: athletics, wheelchair basketball, track cycling and swimming.

Jennie Price, Chief Executive of Sport England, today gave a keynote speech to 160 sports volunteers at Wembley Stadium during the first ever Running Sports national conference.  Running Sports is a Sport England funded programme providing training and support for local volunteers working in sport.
