The East Midlands Regional Sports Board has responsibility for delegated decision making on lottery grants and investment priorities. The Board also provides strategic direction, seeking to assist and effect change to benefit sport in ther egion.

The Board is supported by the Regional Sports Partnership, made up of county sport partnership managers and regional representatives from equity agencies, national governing bodies, sportscoach uk and Youth Sport Trust, plus members of the Sport England East Midlands development team.
The Partnership takes on a more executive/operational role and is responsible for developing a more efficient and effective sports system within the region.
