Resource for East Midlands regional and county officers

This forum exists to support national governing body delivery in the East Midlands. Officers who represent NGBs are invited to become involved.

The Forum encourages joint work and support across its membership. It also provides a focus for any partner organisation that wishes to engage with sport in the region.

Equity Training for NGB Officers
The East Midlands Equity Group is implementing a complementary training and awareness programme aimed at NGB personnel, whether they are local development officers or equity officers. To sign up for free equity training aimed at supporting NGB planning three courses are available on a first come, first served basis. Closing date for applications is 20th June 2008.

Funding for screening days
The East Midlands Rugby Football Union held an U13 screening and assessment day for aspiring young players on Sunday 4h May at the Northampton Saints. The talent identification processhas been made possible through the Club and Coach award provided through Sport England.
