One of the key actions from Change 4 Sport, the regional plan for sport, is to develop a library of best practice that provide a learning and sharing resource by showcasing projects, initiatives and individuals that are making a difference in the East Midlands region.

Fiona Neale Enterprising Women in the business of sport
In November 2004 Sport England East Midlands, with emda and the Women's Sport Foundation produced the publication, Enterprising Women in the business of sport, that demonstrates and celebrates the positive impact that women play at all levels in the business of sport within the East Midlands.

This page aims to tell the stories of some of the women featured in the publication and illustrate the very real challenges that they have faced in reaching their potential.

Global All Stars Sport and Physical Activity - changing lives
Sport plays a vital role in society, but its strengths are not always fully utilised. The publication, Sport and physical activity - changing lives, sets out best practice in sport and physical activity across the East Midlands.

The document also reflects using sport to support the key themes of Local Area Agreements (LAA's). This page aims to tell the stories of some of the best projects featured.
