The 2012 Roadshows have been peppered with Champions again this year, including the West Midlands Roadshow last week in Stafford where Olympic finalist and Commonweath Games gold medallist for swimming Adam Whitehead attended (see right)
"All of the young people that Adam spoke to were inspired by what he said to them and from looking at his medals. The coaching session that he did also motivated the young people to participate. Adam was an excellent role model for these children.
The Sports Development Team are running a variety of Community Sports Courses that will be starting in September. All of the young people and adults that attended our event were given some information about how they can get involved and participate in theses courses." - Katherine Fenn - Stafford Borough Council
