From dancing nurses to indefatigable Games Makers,
from Super Saturday to a Paralympics like we've never seen
before, London 2012 was a sporting triumph.
Now it's your turn.
Sport England is building on the inspiration and excitement of
London 2012 to give you more places, opportunities and reasons to
play sport and get involved.
Even before London won the bid to host the Games,
we were working with LOCOG to make sure many of the
venues playing host to the world's elite could be opened
to the comunity after the Games.
Lee Valley is already open and work is underway
to transform the Aquatics Cenre and Velodrome.
