A Clubmark award to the World Club Champions Leeds Rhinos

Crowd

A full-house of 22000 rugby league fans, a live Sky Sports TV broadcast and a
70-nil scoreline for the home side were the perfect backdrop for the presentation of a Clubmark award to the World Club Champions Leeds Rhinos.

The presentation was one of a series across the country to celebrate the milestone of 1000 clubs in 20 different sports achieving Clubmark accreditation.

Sport England's Yorkshire Regional Director David Gent made the presentation to the Chief Executive of Leeds Rugby Gary Hetherington. The Clubmark award recognises the achievement of Leeds Rhinos in reaching high standards of management, quality coaching, equal opportunities and safety.

The RFL's National Development Manager Andy Harland said: "More and more Rugby Leaque clubs at every level are now applying to join the Clubmark scheme and this is very good for the future of the sport."
